These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HammerSpeak, operated by NL Labs ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using HammerSpeak, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
HammerSpeak is a language learning application designed to help contractors, trade workers, and small business owners learn jobsite Spanish. You may use HammerSpeak for personal or professional learning purposes.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use HammerSpeak.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for fraudulent purposes.
HammerSpeak offers a free plan and paid subscription plans (monthly and annual). Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe.
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in your profile. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access until then.
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on subscription payments, including partial months or unused annual subscription periods. If you have a billing issue or believe you were charged in error, please contact us at hello@hammerspeak.app and we will review your case.
The free plan provides access to two categories (Basics and Jobsite Commands) and the first three days of the guided course. Free plan features may change at our discretion with reasonable notice.
All content in HammerSpeak — including phrase libraries, audio recordings, course content, and the application itself — is owned by NL Labs and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.
HammerSpeak is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the Spanish translations are suitable for every regional dialect or professional context. Always verify critical safety communications with qualified translators or bilingual personnel.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NL Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of HammerSpeak, including but not limited to miscommunications on jobsites resulting from use of phrases learned through the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ohio.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Your continued use of HammerSpeak after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
